Happy Casual Pi Day or Pi Approximation Day! The fraction 22/7 is an approximate value of Pi, so Casual Pi Day falls on July 22; the numerator 22 represents the date, while the numerator seven represents the month. It’s a great day to highlight our lessons for teaching math with film.
