Francesco, directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, introduces the extraordinary life of Pope Frances. Because of their friendship, Afineevsky was able to film very personal moments that give us insight into this pope whose humility and sense of humor contrast with the formality of Vatican traditions. The film reflects Pope Francis’s concerns about economic justice, the environment, refugees and migrants, and more.
