The Mood Classroom Mental Wellness Program lessons are in a Google Slideshow format. They are built around super short, entertaining videos. The videos are created by a team of educational animators who are experts in reaching this audience. The videos capture attention and reinforce messages with memorable, original music, created by Grammy-winning singer-songwriters.
The colorful illustrated lesson slides also include fun facts, affirmations, and discussion prompts.
In addition, the lessons include teacher notes with helpful info and tips for engaging students. No training or prep is needed.

Mood Tools are are practical coping skills that are easy to understand and use. These effective, practical techniques can be utilized daily to help control challenging emotions. They are straightforward skills that can be easily learned and repeatedly applied to alleviate intense feelings. These proven strategies are designed to help tweens & teens bring their feelings down to size. They were developed in partnership with child psychiatrists, educators, parents, and a team of teen ambassadors who are instrumental in making the tools current, relatable, and easy to use.

Yes! The Mood Classroom Mental Wellness Program harnesses clinically proven emotion regulation modalities and simplifies them for better understanding and application. Mood Tools focus on three primary therapeutic approaches:

DBT helps manage intense emotions and improve interpersonal skills with strategies including mindfulness, emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
